DB-Aware Components > Visual > Edits and Memos

By Steve Flynn.

Freeware + source 09 Apr 1999

Description

DBZipMemo is like three components in one. In its inactive state it looks just like an ordinary DBEdit control. It functions just like an ordinary DBMemo control. When you double click on the control a window pops up complete with a large Memo control to allow easier editing and viewing of the Memo details. The window is complete with Caption and Hint lines taken from the original DBMemo's Hint property. The window also has OK and Cancel buttons to allow you to accept or reject changes. When one of the buttons is pressed the window disappears and the focus returns to the original control (or optionally to the next control in the Tab order). If the changes were accepted then the windows contents are copied to the original control otherwise they are discarded.
