kmMailPanel v.1.01

By Kidmoses.

Shareware 10 Feb 2007

The most advanced component for displaying email header information.

The kmMailPanel component enables the Delphi developer to add a Thunderbird-like panel to their email and internet applications to easily display email header information. The panel incorporates many powerful features not found in any other components.

Each and every email address displayed is independent of the rest. This makes it easy to manage individual addresses to provide hot links to capture the address or other information, send reply email, customize hints and popup menus, and so much more. Check out the demo application to learn how to integrate these advanced features into your own applications.

The kmMailPanel component was build with flexibility in mind. From simple changes in background and border color to the distance between lines and the color of text and links, you are in complete control. Set horizontal and vertical margins, indents, and the size of the collapsed panel. Unlike some other controls and even commercial applications, the kmMailPanel control is absolutely 100% flicker-free when the panel is collapsing or expanding, or when the cursor moves over any of the hot links. Flicker can be reduced even more when the panel is resized by double-buffering the form itself.

The advanced feature set includes:

  • easily display Subject, From, Reply-To, To, CC, BCC and Date information
  • collapse and expand panel automatically
  • collapse and expand content (ie: multiple To or CC addresses) automatically
  • individual email addresses are "hot" and clickable
  • content is 100% flicker-free
  • display full address, short address or just address name
  • show individual hints for each address
  • change panel border color
  • adjust height of panel when collapsed
  • change panel color
  • set custom date format
  • set hint delay and duration
  • set hover color for email addresses, default is clRed
  • select hover cursor
  • change spacing between title and data
  • change line spacing between items
  • set link color, default is clBlue
  • margins for top, bottom, left and right are adjustable
  • select PopupMenu
  • subject line has own custom hint
  • change text color
There is no other component like quite like kmMailPanel. It's the only choice when it comes to easily displaying email header information in your applications.

MicroFrame Software's Floating Tool Panel v.1.1

By MicroFrame Software.

SWS 20 Dec 1999

TToolBox is a TCustomPanel descendant that emulates the floating tool bars that are used in many popular graphics editors and other applications.

Insert a TtoolBox Panel on your application form and then fill it with Toolbars, Buttons, Panels, Color Pickers, Grids, or any components you desire. Your end-user can then move the ToolBox around the parent form by dragging it with the mouse.

The ToolBox, although a panel component, resembles a form complete with a title bar containing a caption and two control buttons that respectively hide the panel, or allow it to scroll up out of the way so that only the title bar is visible. The programmer can specify whether the control buttons are visible, and can control the state of the ToolBox (hidden or scrolled up) by setting the appropriate properties.
