Description

BtPrinterList is an ActiveX control that provides a list view control containing each configured printer and the properties of that printer. Using this control, a printers properties can be easily manipulated visually or programmatically. Properties such as the printers default status, bin, orientation, etc. are easily queried and changed.

BtPrinterList allows users to modify printer settings easily via right click menu support. For example, if you add a BtPrinterList control to a Visual Basic form and set the visual property to true, a user of your application can change the default printer, change selected bin, orientation and more by right clicking the mouse on one of the printers displayed in the control.

BtPrinterList was created using Visual C++ and ATL. It is a fast, small control suitable for any development project supporting ActiveX controls. Because it was developed with ATL it has no reliance on large supporting dll’s like controls written with Visual Basic or MFC. This makes it well suited for Internet development. BtPrinterList has been tested with Internet Explorer, Visual Basic, C++ Builder and Delphi.

BtPrinterList requires Windows 98, Windows NT 4, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP.
