These suite of components features all the power you now need for building a CAD like drawing application.

Features:

  • Multi-layered.
  • Fully customizable.
  • Spatial Indexing (r-tree indexing) that enable the support of very big data files.
  • Raster image support: BMP, TIFF, PNG, GIF, TGA, etc.
  • Huge Raster Image support. Based on our own technology, we can display a 300 MB or bigger image (like bitmap or TIFF file) in less than 64 MB RAM, or you can optionally load the full image to memory.
  • Most common third party vector formats supported for exporting/importing: AutoCAD Data Exchange Format (.DXF), ArcView Shape files (.SHP), MapInfo MIF/MID and TAB files supported, Microstation DGN files.
  • Support the following native multi-parts shapes: Polyline, Polygon, Rectangle, Circle, Ellipse, Arc, Splines, Multiline Text, Windows True Type Text and Vector texts, Symbols, Symbols with user defined text, Georeferenced raster images, Preview (for creating print previews), Tables, etc.
  • A lot of events for controlling aspects like: when a shape is clicked (you can display an informative form here), before selecting a shape, after selecting, before inserting, after inserting, zoom changes, before shapes are painted (you can change all attributes before painting for building thematic maps), for showing custom text for a given shape, for controlling what text is displayed on the hint window, etc. Many of the events allows you to cancel the specific action with a return parameter.
  • Component for building a Print Preview and Printing the map. You have total control of what you will print: The position of the map (or maps), the scale of the printing, add text to the printing at any given position, print all the shapes supported to the report (polylines,polygons, etc.). You can even use for printing, an Owner Draw Table where you will print: text, numbers, dates, bitmaps (or any other image format), symbols, etc in event OnDrawCell.
  • Very powerful editing toolds: Undo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Move, Rotate, Scale, Node editing, Guidelines, Configurable Grid, Trim, Extend, Break, Fillet, etc.
