Description

Many other capture softwares record using external video library such as ffmpeg and produce video files as result. This application uses built-in Microsoft Windows API and produces image files. The algorithm could be implemented for other capture purposes.

• Capturing is performed in GUI while file saving is perfomed in background thread.
• Cam name text is inserted on bitmap canvas in random black or white font color.
• Result files are stored as JPEG image with time based folder and file name convention.
• Target window selection utilizes a mouse hook library built separately.
• No need to adjust capture area; just select and start.
• Target window is verified and read its properties using window handle.
• Selected target window is checked regularly to ensure its existance.
• High DPI display is also handled with consice workaround and log window is provided for monitoring process flow.
