QuickIE allows you to take advantage of Internet Explorer’s AboutURLs features. This mostly unknown features lets you type in "about:food" to go to "http://www.foodthatyoulike.com/" or whatever you please. It comes with full Delphi source code for you to alter it in any way you wish.
