Description
A set of form controls and components to make simple work of building SQL Server database applications without the need to use any of the Microsoft Data controls supplied with Visual Studio.Let the lizardLogon control discover the servers running on your local machine or network, all you need to do is drop this on a form and set its Execute property.
The lizardControlAgent generates the Insert, Update and Delete statements without you needing to write any in-line-code.
Populate tree views, combo boxes, list boxes and data grid view with a single line of code.
Around 220 lines of code gives you a fully functional database system with server logon and all the edit checks you would be expect in any database application.
Why would you write code to check that a user has entered data in fields when this is done automatically for you based on the field definition from the database table, if null is allowed, move on otherwise let the user know.
See the tables and the fields of the selected table in the property grid of the IDE for the lizardControl, fill the lizardControl with the data while you are in the property grid.
Let the lizardControlAgent retrieve the records from the database and populate the associated lizardControls with the data by writing one line of code.
Let the lizardButton control instruct the lizardControlAgent what to do when the button is pressed, add a New record or Edit the current record or save the new (making sure there are no duplicates) or edited record or delete the current record, but check that deleting the record will not impact on records in other tables that depend on it.
