BitmapFilter v.1.1FWS 298 k 06 Apr 2005
By Bogdan Deaky. BitmapFilter is a multi purpose graphics component which is going to make many people happy (or at least I hope so). Version 1.1 has corrections and you can apply effetcs on TImage no metter of the graphics object loaded (not only bitmaps anymore). It can:
  • apply effects (for now sepia, variable sepia and grayscale) on TBitmaps, TImages and directly on files
  • apply antialiasing if needed

  • convert beetween bmp and jpg
  • resize the output bitmap to the size you want
  • use a combobox to display the effects in and a trackbar to set effect depth/intensity.
Of course you can combine several of the modifications mentioned above in one operation.

Select the kind of manipulated object, set the manipulated object (the image, the files ,+ bitmap can be set only at runtime of course), set all modification options (usually, if not set, out-values will be the same as the in-values). To apply them, use the ApplyFilter method.

Exe demo included - it's for use with TImage but you should understand enough to use it the way you need (files or bitmaps).

IBtn v.1.1FWS 54 k 26 Apr 2004
By Bogdan Deaky. Component derived from TImage which imitates a button... or a button on which you can set what picture to display. You can adjust the vertical and/or horizontal movement of the button. Version 1.1 has the additional property "path" which helps launching executables (but also documents, links etcetera) on click. If the field is left empty it behaves exactly like IBtn v1.0. Author used this property in the creation process of an i-caffe administration/ protection software.

  Problem Solving with Delphi
This title includes a book and a CD. The purpose of the book is to use Delphi as a vehicle to introduce some fundamental algorithms and to illustrate several mathematical and problem-solving techniques. This book is therefore intended to be more of a reference for problem-solving, with the solution expressed in Delphi. It introduces a somewhat eclectic collection of material, much of which will not be found in a typical book on Pascal or Delphi. Many of the topics have been used by the author over a period of about ten years at Bond University, Australia in various subjects from 1993 to 2003. Much of the work was connected with a data structures subject (second programming course) conducted variously in MODULA-2, Oberon and Delphi, at Bond University, however there is considerable other, more recent material, e.g., a chapter on Sudoku. more... more...
