Description

AstaIO allows Delphi developers to create thin client database applications that run over the Internet or any tcp/ip network. No DLL’s or setup of any kind is required on the client.

AstaIO is an all-new n-Tier product, redesigned from the ground. Built on the ASTA tradition, it can be used with Delphi V5 or V6 Professional or Kylix Desktop. Delphi Enterprise is NOT required nor is Kylix Server edition.

Clients and Servers can be mixed and matched. Java servers and clients will be added as well as all ASTA handheld clients.

AstaIO supports the IProvider Interface so MIDAS/DataSnap developers will be able to code AstaIO servers with techniques they are accustomed to.
