"For some time I've been looking around for alternatives to embed some command language in my applications. Although there are several very interesting alternatives out there, they usually involve a degree of complexity that would demand far more time than I have available just to begin learning how to use them. Recently, however, while browsing through a C book ("C: the complete reference - 3rd edition", by Herbert Schildt), I found the source code for a C interpreter. Taking that code as a starting point, I made some modifications and the result of this work is the package that includes the file you're reading now."
