All of these components written (except other's packages) and tested in C++ Builder 5.

• NewVss'dSource is tiny modification of the standard bcbide50.bpl, dclstd50.bpl, experts.dll and a small program to make these modifications yourself if you wish. It places a header at the beginning of each IDE generated souce file. By default it's a VSS macro header, which could be usefull if you are using Visual Source Safe. Because I'm too busy to make my own experts, I chose an easier way to make the IDE work with experts the way I need. I hacked the resources in the libraries (also you can recompile experts.dll with the new added or a self modified codegen.txt). So how it works exactly. It replaces in the RCDATA resource CPPCRTS (in bcbide.bpl) CPPSERVICE (in dclstd50.bpl) and SNIPETS (in experts.dll). IDE uses these resources to generate the source, when you choose File\New and any item on New items page. I was able to change Application, Component, Console wizard, DLL wizard, Data module, Form, Frame, Library, Package, Service, Service application and Thread object on New tab and Application wizzard on Projects tab. (I could not hack Control panel application, Control panel modul and Report choices, because those sources are not in resource in the libraries (applet50.bpl and dclqrt50.bpl). Also could not hack mfcwizard.bpl, there was an error while loading with LoadLibrary. In the absense of time, I did not try to find the other elements of the remaining tabs (if you would, please drop me an e-mail)

BE CARREFULL with the tool program it's a very simple one and not well tested (version 0.1 ). I had to make it, because I have not got any resource editor, that can correctly handle large RT_RCDATA resources and BPL files.

• HCgkReader5 contains 2 visual components TCgkReader and TCgkReaderStatusSign. TCgkReader is built around function calls of CGK's (named today OCÉ) Travell Doc 3648 and IdStar 4048 document readers programming interface (trd_dll.dll, ids_dll.dll). You can find the include files, a simple sample, help files (not finished yet), HCgkVcl5.Bpl and Bpi, plus 2 dummy dlls (trd_dll.dll and ids_dll.dll) and import libraries for both (you will need these files, if you only have one of the supported readers). Of course you need the original CGK libraries to make your program work (you will be able to link your program with my dymmy dlls, but the functions inside them do nothing, so you can't use them at run-time). TCgkReaderStatusSign is a simple control to display the actual status of the associated reader. You can place it e.g. on a status bar control.

• HNwVcl5 corrently contains only one (but very usefull) component HNWBCheckListBox.This control makes a list of selected type of netware objects, that can be provided by a NWScanObject netware api call and put the list items in a CheckListBox. You give the types of the objects the list must include and can filter the result of enumeration process at run-time. (to use this component you need Netware Client v. ? or higher, but the package contains the neccessery NWSDK14 header files)

• HVclAdd5 Actualy contains only one patch (more planed) on the original vcl50.bpl. Added two new global property fShowHintOnDisabled and fShowHintInBackground. Via these two properies you can enable hints on controls are in the background or in disabled state. (why not included this possibility in the orignal package ???)
  Because most of these replaced parts of the vcl50.bpl are private or non virtual functions (and otherewise a package is a real unit), so there is now way, as far as I know, to replace modules in it (just like in the good old DLL times). Therefore I wasn't able to replace the dynamic library parts, so I had to make a static library, and unfortunetly you have to make your project as static target too (no dynamic VCL libraries (BPLs)), if you wish to use these enchancements.

• HAddRxLib2.75+ contains a few modifications on the wonderful original RxLib files. IMPORTANT! I strongly recommend you to use this extension and rebuild your RxLib files, if you plan to use HVcl5.Bpk or HVclDb5.Bpk package. After dowloaded the zip copy the files it's containing into the original RxLib installation directory, rebuild included package files (rxctl5.bpk, rxdb5.bpk, rxbde5.bpk, dclrx5.bpk, dclrxdb5.bpk, dclrxbd5.bpk in this order) and reinstall design-time packages (prefixed with dcl).
